What a year it’s been for Lucas in the Micro class!
This season both Lucas and his team showed incredible dedication and and speed, capping off the year with the overall championship titel SKCC
After two seasons of experience in Micro, Lucas entered 2025 with big ambitions and strong momentum. With support from one of the best Micro engine tuners around, and valuable collaboration with chassis manufacturer MS Kart, everything was set for a promising season.
The year began positively with the old chassis: 5th place in the Klippan Cup (a non-series race) and a solid 2nd place in SKCC Round 1, with a touch of well-earned luck.
Then came a major turning point – the arrival of a brand-new MS KART Blue Kite chassis. For a 10-year-old who had only driven older karts since starting at barely six years old, it was a dream come true. The new kart brought both confidence and a real shot at fighting for wins.
And what a debut it was! Victory straight away at the Rookie Cup (using the practice engine, no less), followed just two weeks later by another win in SKCC Round 2 – held at the legendary Åsum Ring in Kristianstad.
From there, Lucas consistently fought at the front. Heading into the seventh and final round, he had already taken four wins from six races and led the championship by just eight points. Everything came down to the Superheat and Final. In tough, wet conditions, Lucas showed incredible composure, taking maximum points and securing the overall victory in Scandinavia’s series – SKCC.
A remarkable performance and a season to remember.
Congratulations, Lucas – what an achievement!
