Final Round of the Czech Karting Championship in Písek

The final round of this year’s Czech Karting Championship took place at the well-known Písek circuit, which offered ideal conditions for the season’s closing race. The weather remained pleasant and stable throughout the weekend, allowing competitors to fully showcase both their technical performance and driving skill. Our drivers once again delivered excellent performances, leaving Písek with valuable results and podium finishes.

In the Baby 60 category, Johana Sovičková and Michael Klas both performed superbly. Johana improved steadily from her eighth-place qualifying position and crossed the finish line in a solid sixth place in the Super Final. Michael continued his strong form from previous races — after starting eighth in the heats, he gained pace and finished the final in an excellent third place, closing the season in great style.

In Rok Junior, David Rosypal confirmed his consistent form in Písek. After qualifying in second place, he maintained strong pace in the heats and rightfully stood on the silver step of the podium in the Super Final.

Exciting moments came in the OK-N class, where Matyáš Kučera recovered impressively after an unlucky retirement in the first heat. He fought hard in the second race and finished fifth in the final — his determination and improving pace signal a promising outlook for the next season.

In the KZ2 premier class, Jakub Kadlčák started the weekend strongly, qualifying second — just 0.008 s behind Marek Skřivan. Disaster struck shortly after the start of Saturday’s first race, when an over-motivated rival crashed into Jakub, who was running in P2. A torn radiator ended his race and forced him to start the next heat from the very back. With a breathtaking recovery drive, Jakub fought his way through the field to finish second in the second final! However, a painful injury to his left hand from Saturday’s collision affected his performance in the Super Final, where he finished third. Kuba showed true fighting spirit and incredible toughness, earning a total of 272 points and claiming second place overall in the KZ2 championship.

More great performances came from the KZ2 Gentleman category. Jaroslav Capík confirmed his role as one of the top contenders, collecting a series of second-place finishes over the weekend and securing second place overall in the championship with 247 points. Josef Barilla made significant progress through the field and finished a solid fourth in the Super Final, contributing to a strong team finish to the season.

In the KZ2 PAČR class, Lukáš Babáček dominated from start to finish, taking pole position and winning all races with authority. His flawless performance and three consecutive victories confirmed his outstanding form and provided a perfect conclusion to the national championship.

The final round in Písek thus marked the end of a demanding yet extremely successful season for MS KART. Excellent performances from all drivers, the dedication of mechanics, and a great team spirit were the key ingredients behind these results.

The next challenge will be the final round of the Moravian Cup and Slovak Championship at Slovakiaring, taking place October 10–12, 2025.
