BPEC round 2 in Fulbeck: MS KART scores the best!

Great to be back on track with a really strong grid of 30 karts. Sunday morning greeted us with brilliant sunshine to mark the event. Qualifying finished with 43 MS SOCO select on pole with 42 MS Lucas and 111 MS JSR all close behind.

Race started at half 10 with everyone safely around the first lap apart from

“stanner” who tried to remove his streaming wheel with his teeth!
All the teams ran closely in the first stint although 43 and 42 eased away slighting and then after the first stop 43 gaining a small lead but still very close. 43 then going on to win by only 8 seconds from a closing in 42 who finished 2nd.

Kart 11 bent a trackrod early on which cost them time, although after a great come back drive won pro class and a fantastic P3 overall , with team Tate 2nd place in pro with P4 overall . 115 Team Keane collecting 3rd despite the steering wheel detachment.

After a great qualifying run for 043 junior NRG Teesside they kept really good pace all day to finish a strong second place which was a great result for such a young junior team! Also P3 went to kart 26 TMS Trico Racing 1.

In the club class 78 TMS/Trico and the flu fighters finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Next stop UK 24 7th and 8th of august and it’s going to be a mega event, see you all there!
