A colorful racing weekend in Bruck

The Speedworld kart track in Austria became the venue of the 3rd round of Rotax Max Challenge Czech Republic, Moravian Cup and Slavakian Championship from 15th to 18th July. All the race weekend was accompanied by changeable weather, high summer temperatures alternated with heavy rain.

With starting No. 88 Tomas Filipensky represented the MS KART Racing Team in ROK. He set the fastest time in Saturday’s qualification and he drove very well on Sunday when he won all the heats and became the overall winner. Filip Rabas, one of the youngest members of our team, was dequalified from timed practice due to a technical defect, but he managed to fight and took P2, P1 and P1 in final heats.

Jiri Safranek defended the MS KART in KZ2 and showed stable performance throughout the weekend. In qualification Jirka set P4 and the same result was achieved in the first two heats followed by a nice P3 place in the last final. He finished 4th in total classification. His father Jan Safranek set the 3rd time in timed practice of KZ2 Veteran. On Sunday Honza showed a good pace and to P2 in first heat he added two more victories in heat 2 and 3. Great job, congratulations for the victory!

Strong representation of MS KART chassis had the Rotax DD2 Masters class where this time David Kadlec was the most successful driver. P2 in qualification and the same result in all final heats meant P2 on podium. His team mate Vilem Hene was also performed well finished totally at nice 3rd place with results P4, P3 and P3. The fourth and fifth place was taken by another 2 drivers on MS Kart – Kamil Kubera and Lukas Devera, both from team JM KART. The Hungarian driver Adam Kovacs (Kancsar Racing) finished P3 in DD2 category.

Tomas Javurek set P6 in time practice of Rotax Max Junior and twice on P5 in the first heats. In the last race, after a nice duel for 3rd place, he passed the finish line on P4. Natalie Kadlecova was really fats and set the 4th fastest lap time in qualification. Due to little racing experience of this promising young girl-driver the results in final heats were worse but a nice trophy for the 1st place in category of unlicensed drivers made her very happy. The youngest girl-driver Rozalie Rabasova finished 4th in class School 50.

Also the JM KART racing team drivers were successful in Bruck: Jakub Kubera – P3 Rotax Mini Max, Vitek Kubera – P5 Rotax Micro Max and Krystof Kyllar – P3 Baby 60. Congratulations!

Thanks to all drivers, mechanics and parents for good teamwork and to Machac Motors for the engines. Thanks to Jakub Rovny and RACE SK for great photos.
