The next driver of the MS KART racing team for the 2024 season is David Gorčica.
Devid started his racing career at the age of nine after being approached to drive a rental kart. He progressed through the Easykart 60 and Easykart 100 categories, in which he spent four seasons. The year before last, he switched to a MS KART chassis, with which he moved up to the OK junior category.
So far he has managed quite a lot in karting. He was 3rd overall in the Easykart 100 and 5th overall in the OK junior in DKM 2023 thanks to his opening race win. His most successful result in the Czech Championship was last year in Písek, when he took silver.
This year he will face a new challenge, which will be the royal category KZ2. Ivan Čermák and his mechanic František Marhoul will take care of his technique. He sees no problem in the main change, shifting, and believes that he will gain as many points as he can.
He would like to take the same steps as his motorsport role model, the British car racer Paul di Resta. The latter is focusing his racing career on touring car racing, which David would also like to get a sniff of in the future.
We have no choice but to wish David every success in achieving his goals.
