Jakub Kadlčák winner of Czech Championship Round 6 in Vysoké Mýto

At the end of September, the last round of Czech Kart Open 2023 was held at the autodrome in Vysoké Mýto. Thanks to the beautiful victory of Jakub Kadlčák in KZ2 the race was an excellent finish of the 2023 season for our MS KART Racing Team.

The KZ2 time practice results were really close, Jakub set the 3rd time with a loss of 0.042 sec to the winner which gave him starting position from the 2nd row for the 1st final race on Saturday evening. He took the lead right after the start and held it for several laps, crossing the finish line in P2. He also scored points for 2nd place in the second final heat on Sunday morning, but here the gap to the leader was a bit larger. Perhaps it was this 1.732 seconds loss that made Jakub give his best effort, maybe it was just all the favourable circumstances, to which the year-long hard work of the whole team contributed… In the Superfinal heat it just worked out: the start from the 1st row was handled brilliantly by Jakub and he took the lead. With a small gap he held the lead until lap 8, when his rival unexpectedly closed in on him at the end of the finishing straight and overtook him. The next 2 breathtaking laps saw Jakub staying close behind the leader Marek Skrivan and waiting for his opportunity. It came on lap 10 when Jakub managed a great overtaking manoeuvre and took the lead again. It was a thrilling and balanced battle and a great race, which ended with a beautiful victory for us in the last race of the year. In the end, we were only 5 points short of the overall championship victory and Jakub became the Czech Vice-Champion for 2023! Thank you and congratulations!

Another great victory for MS KART was achieved by Zdeněk Bábíček icek #30 in MINI 60. Zdeněk won all 3 final heats and with a total score of 340 points and a huge gap of 95 points he became the Mini Czech Champion 2023, congratulations!

In KZ2 Gentleman, David Kadlec #537 took a great 2nd place in the Superfinal, but a 3 sec start penalty moved him back to P4. In the same class, Jaroslav Capík #288 finished P2 in his first start at the Czech Kart Open.

Filip Vloch #15 scored nice 6 points for P10 in KZ2 Superfinal, Petr Kačírek #27 finished 3 places behind him.

In the strong field of ROK GPA nice performance was shown by Tomas Filipensky, Tadeas Radvan and the newcomer Lukas Babacek who ended up P3 in juniors.

Grétka Polmová failed in the timed practice, but fought hard from the back and won P3 in the Superfinal in PAČR of Mini 60.
