Lee Harpham King of Cadwell

After Lee Harpham’s big crash 4 weeks ago in the fastest section of the Cadwell Park circuit, which he miraculously managed to survive without serious injury, he and his team managed to repair the broken kart for the Superkart UK King of Cadwell race meeting last week.

Due to heavy rain, the last practice session on Friday was cancelled and it was straight to qualifying. Qualifying went well considering lack of rear brakes ended up just getting pipped so P2.
Race one on Saturday the heavens opened once again! The kart felt great and Lee just extended his lead and won by 31 seconds.
Race 2 on Sunday was dry, Lee managed to extend his lead to around 8 seconds so backed off and then caught some back markers in really bad places which meant Jack Tritton managed to get on his tail starting the last lap so Lee had to get a move on to take the flag.

In race 3 some changes to the setup were madfe, there was no napping in this one and Lee took the victory by just over 6 seconds which gave him the King of Cadwell once again! And also driver of the day from John Faulkner which topped of the weekend!

Huge thanks to Dave Harvey, Rod Harpham and Jon Plaskitt for all their hard work over the weekend!

Congratulations also to Jack Trittin for a great ride over the weekend. He drove only his second race in the Division 1 class! Great first and second place finishes for the MS Kart Harvey-VM P1 and P2 karts!
