Lee Harpham is leading the championship after 1st race

After a long break the Superkart races finally started in the UK. Lee Harpham had a great start of the season in the first meeting of the Super Series at Oulton Park on the MS KART chassis and VM engine. Lee qualified 2nd after a hectic session with 48 karts on track!

He got a comfortable lead in race 1 and won by 9 seconds. Lee led for 4 laps in race 2 but some changes meant he was suffering with understeer but brought it home in second place meaning we Lee and his team are leading the championship!

The Harvey motorsport VM ran faultless all weekend and the MS KART kart chassis performed well. Many thanks to Dave Harvey and Rod Harpham for all the hard work over the weekend and the sponsorship from Paul Wheatley NGK spark plugs.

Roll on Snetterton in 3 weeks to see if we can do it all again.
