Lucas Ellingham at Kart Masters

The prestigious race of the British Kart Masters Championship, which took place at the PF International Kart Circuit last weekend, meant for Lucas Ellingham, the number one pilot of team JDR, a hard race and P7 in the final.

Great result for Lucas considering he started the pre-final in 35th due to the engine not starting. He fought through the pre-final up 15 places to P20, and then gained another 13 places in the Grand Prix. Getting up to 7th in the main final was impressive on an extremely tough grid.

Sadly, team boss, Jack Dex was inundated with problems which meant he was only able to finish 1 heat without a mechanical issue. A real shame he never got chance to challenge for a position he deserved.
