Max Karhan and his further experience in OK Junior

After the previous DKM race in Kerpen, Max Karhan showed up on home soil, this time at the 1st round of the Czech Kart Open in Cheb. In the OK Junior category, 21 karts were entered with experienced drivers who are already in their second or third season in this class. The change from Easy 100 to OK J is a new stage and a big challenge for Max.

In time practice Max set the 7th time and started the first final race from row 4. He finished P6. The team was satisfied and the preparation for Saturday’s second final heat began. Here, Max unfortunately ended the race prematurely after fighting for second place right after the start, he drove off the track. Heavy rain and track full of water contributed to this. The afternoon Super Final was more successful and Max and finished P8 with his machine on wet track.

Overall satisfaction, gaining new experience, valuable knowledge about the new track in the OK Junior class – this is how one could sum up the participation in another, quite demanding race Czech Kart Open in Cheb.

Thanks to our partners, without whose support it is impossible to run such a race! And of course the mechanics for their excellent work on the preparation of the race equipment and technical facilities.
