After some positive tests of a brand new MS KART chassis Lucas Ellingham raced it in Kimbolton and dominated the whole day winning both heats and the final in Junior X30!!! With this phantastic result Lucas ensured the 3rd podium in a row for Jack Dex´s team JDR and MS KART: P1 Whilton – Jude Fernihough, P3 PFI – Lucas Ellingham, P1 Kimbolton – Lucas Ellingham.
Even the younger JDR driver starting in the Cadet class have not lost in the last race in Kimbolton. Ben and Cian looked strong over points of the day but finished 3rd and 4th in the final with Ben leading briefly at the beginning. Morgan kept finding himself in the wrong place with getting knocked off under yellows in heat 1 from 5th and then caught up in an incident on lap 1 of the final. He was very fast however and recovered from last to 11th.
A strong perfomance was shown by the seniors. Michael O’Brien did a good job in testing and looks to do his first race next month. Louis was on form again and after 2 great heats went off grid 4. This however proved to be the wrong place for turn 1 and fell down the order. He recovered to 11th and was very fast. Jamie had a solid day and finished 5th. And Simon got his dry pace much closer this month. Really unlucky to have the starter motor fail on the grid for the final but had some better heats this month.
