Great performance of JDR drivers at Kimbolton

A near perfect day at Kimbolton for the first race of 2022! P1, P2, P3 & P4 in Junior X30! Incredible lockout led by Morgan Hill who took an excellent victory to start off his junior campaign. Followed by George Robinson who had to recover after some contact at the start. Joshua Jones and Hayden Bailey in 3rd and 4th – well done!

P2 in Senior Max for Theo Micouris, another strong performance. Oliver Bocock was P1 in a full Minimax grid right up until the final corner. Sadly contact ruined his well deserved victory, but we are all very proud of his drive and know he will achieve lots this season. Sam Baker looked set for a podium in Junior Max with excellent pace, but a few incidents set him back to 9th. Gracie Mitchell had a great final working her way up to 8th on the full grid. Ryan Ward had his first weekend in Rotax and finished in an impressive 13th. Bella Franklin suffered a few incidents causing a DNF. Simon Stoneham had strong pace in the heats, narrowly missing a victory and finished the final in 4th in Senior X30.

5 times podium at Steelring
