In the last race of Junior X30 at the kart track PFI Lucas Ellingham qualified 3rd in the wet qualifying with Jude 9th and Sam unlucky to get turned around on his final lap in 18th. Lucas had 2 strong heats in the dry to go off 2 for the final. A trip across the grass on lap 1 meant it looked like it was game over but some amazing pace meant he got himself back into 3rd quickly and he caught the leaders who worked together to push away. However he made his move too late and ended up finishing 4th. Still a great performance.
Jude had 2 solid heats and a great start and was up to 4th early on. He spent most of the race in 8th but got involved in an incident towards the end meaning he finished 18th.
Sam was brilliant in heat 1. However a day full of incidents in the mid field meant he could never get clear of that mid field group. His final finished with an incident in the chicane. Still we are happy with his progress recently and a bit more experience and he will be constantly running in the top 10.
Reece keeps improving and we were happy with his progress, especially in the wet weather.
