The prestigious UK Kartmasters 2023 race at PFI was attended by the Jack Dex Racing team with a large number of drivers in various categories, and some really did well.
Otis Cleary was an amazing P4 in Micromax. His best performance so far in the class. He showed great speed wet and dry and was so close to the podium.
Harry Hannam was back after his injury and was exceptional. Running in the top 10 in both classes in the final. He had some very strong heats and multiple fastest laps. Some incidents meant he couldn’t challenge for the podium but top 10 in Rotax and X30 at this level is still brilliant.
Lucas Ellingham ran at the front of all his heats. He would’ve been in contention for a podium but pulled out the event on the rolling up lap of the pre final with a rib injury.
Jude Fernihough had many incidents but had a great drive in the pre final and final with great pace. He finished P12.
Lizzy Mentier also showed good speed but got caught in a nasty incident at the start. We are glad to see she is ok.
Liam Hartley ran at the front of the heats but a crash in the pre final knocked him down the order. He recovered to P22 in the main final.
Zain Selim and Reean Dharmadasa both learnt a lot and enjoyed their Kartmasters experience and improved throughout the week.
Thanks to our partners Time Racing Engines for the Rotax power, Jade Engines for the X30 power and MS KART Racing Technology for a great chassis.
