Almost a double win for JDR

Busy weekend between 18. – 19.9. at Shenington Kart Racing Club Round 5, including the 250 National Super 4. Cian Geraghty made his return after an 8 week break from a broken collarbone. He was on form with a heat win and going off P5 for the final. His teammate Alfie Baxter-Davies also had excellent heat results which put him on P3 for the final.

Alfie had a great start and took the lead early on, but got pushed back. He recovered well to 7th. Cian had an amazing last half of the race, taking the lead and defending at the right point. Unfortunately this win was taken from him due to being pushed wide. But a 4th place finish and a huge amount learnt concluded a very successful return for Cian.

A tricky day for Luke Sintler with bumper penalties but he gained places in the final to finish 13th.

Nigel Geraghty took a fantastic win in Rotax Libre despite a DNF in a heat. Great race!
