The winner of the British 24hr, the biggest UK endurance race which took place on 8-9th August in Teeside, became the team “MS KARTs” in Pro class.
“After a year off from 24hr racing I jumped at the chance to do it this year!
I joined team “MS Karts” in the Pro class which comprised of some great drivers. We won the Pro class with a healthy lead but had to fight for it for the first 16 hours”, says Louis Dymond. “Respect to the other pro teams for pushing us all the way”.
Kart was prepped to the highest of standards by Jamie and Will, a testament shown by only having 1 problem (throttle cable snapping in the last 2 hours of the race). Which was fixed in great time.
Massive thanks to my team mates who all drove faultlessly, consistent and fast all race. Will Jones, Steve Thompson, Jake Brooker & Jamie Tyler. It was a fantastic weekend and a great laugh. Also to Colin and Gary for being fantastic on the pit wall.
Big thanks goes to Howard Lucas for giving me the opportunity to race with a great team within his team and for all the help through the weekend, was a top job! Thanks to Wendy for the catering it was amazing.
