Successful race weekend in Vysoke Myto

After the first two canceled races the Rotax Max Challenge CZ, MP and MSR championship started with the third event in a row, on the weekend of June 4-6 in Vysoke Myto.

The MS KART racing team joined the race in large numbers in the background of a completely new team tent and showed respectable performances on the track.

In Friday’s free practice, Jakub Talaš focused mainly on other team riders, together they discussed the passages of individual passages on the track, as well as the optimal tuning of go-karts in individual categories. On Saturday, Kuba with the mechanics tuned his machine in preparation for the 3rd race of the Czech Championship in Vysoke Myto and set the fastest time in timed practice. On Sunday, he easily won all 3 final races in a professional way. Beautiful work Kuba, thank you!

Jirka Safranek in the KZ2 class had a very good speed and set 5th time in timed practice. He finished 5th in the first race. After a collision in the second race, he bravely brought his machine to the finish line, but the damaged steering took its toll and Jiri entered the 3rd race with front tires fully worn, which finally meants 9th position. Jan Safranek showed great pace in the KZ2 Veteran category, he won the qulification as well as all races, super performance Jan!

In the ROTAX Max Junior class, we were very pleased with Tomas Javurek who set fast times from the beginning. Bad luck came in timed practice when a broken chain knocked him out before he could drive a fast. The start from behind motivated him well in the first race and Tom performed nice overtaking maneuvers and crossed the finish line fourth. He achieved the same result in the 2nd final and had a good start in the last race. Unfortunately a collision with an opponent of the same colors deprived both blue-white machines of a chance to gain points.

Tomas Filipensky started in the ROK category and, similarly to the previous 2 races in Cheb, he showed that his opponents definitely have to reckon with him  year: Tom added 3 victories in all 3 final races to the best time in qualification and took the top step onto the podium.  Great work, Tom.

David Kadlec and his daughter Natalia also got up to the podium. Natalie drove her first race in the Rotax Max Junior category and managed it with great heart and determination. In one of the heats she had to push her go-kart off the grass back onto the track, she did not give up and finished the race. She deservedly took the trophy for first place in the class of unlicensed riders. David fought for the best position in the DD2 Masters with Kamil Kubera and Lukas Devera from JM KART racing team, all 3 drivers going on MS KART. All of them showed beautiful fights on the track, David finished 2nd overall. Great result, congratulations.

The youngest member of the team is the 8 year-old Filip Rabas in Rotax Micro Max class. With great support of his parents Filip and his younger sister Rozi have been driving karts from the age of 5 and both are still improving. Filip finished second of non licenced drivers.

Many thanks to all drivers of MS KART Racing Team as well as to all others who started on chassis of our MS KART brand. Many thanks to the mechanics and parents for great team work, the Machac Motors for the engines and RACE.SK for the great photos.
