The seventh and final round of the Moravian Cup, Slovak Championship and Rotax MAX Challenge Czech Republic & Slovakia took place at Slovakiaring on October 9–11. Eight drivers represented the MS KART Racing Team across four categories. The team wrapped up the final race weekend of the season with an overall victory and two additional podium finishes.
Benedek Vida competed in KZ2 for the second consecutive event and this time left no doubt about his pace. He set the fastest qualifying time among all Moravian Cup competitors and went on to win all three races in the MP classification. His overall victory, with a perfect score of 165 points, followed his second-place finish at Vysoké Mýto and confirmed that Beni’s transition from Rotax DD2 to KZ2 has been a successful one.
Matyáš Kučera delivered one of his strongest performances of the season in KZ2. He made an impressive start to the weekend by securing pole position for the very first time in his racing career, setting the fastest qualifying lap of the entire KZ2 field! In the opening race, he finished P3 in the Slovak Championship classification, but a five-second front bumper penalty dropped him to P5. In Race 2, he finished P4 and also set the fastest lap of the race. He crossed the line in P3 in the final race, securing a well-deserved third place overall.
Matyáš has shown steady improvement throughout the season, and his performance at Slovakiaring demonstrated just how much progress he has made in the highly competitive KZ2 category. His growing speed and racing experience are extremely promising for the future, and we believe he will be a serious contender for the front positions in 2027.
Šimon Gába faced a difficult weekend in the KZ2 Moravian Cup classification right from the start. He was unable to set a qualifying time and did not start the opening race. In Race 2, he fought his way through the field to finish P6, followed by an impressive P3 among MP competitors in the final race. With no points from the opening race, he finished thirteenth overall, but his performance towards the end of the weekend clearly showed that he had the pace to fight at the front.
In Rotax DD2, Adam Leffler and Dalibor Pánek competed in the Moravian Cup classification.
Adam Leffler experienced a weekend with several setbacks. He qualified P3 in MP but received a five-second penalty for a dropped front bumper in Race 1 and a three-second penalty for an incorrect start in Race 2. He finished P4 in both races. In the final race, he did not complete all fourteen laps but was still classified P5, giving him fourth place overall.
Dalibor Pánek made his very first kart racing appearance at Slovakiaring and delivered an impressive performance on his debut weekend. He immediately showed promising pace, qualifying P4 in the MP classification, just behind Adam. He finished fifth in both opening races, despite receiving a ten-second penalty for an incorrect start in Race 2. In the final race, he moved up to P4, even with an additional five-second front bumper penalty.
Dalibor finished fifth overall, just one point behind Adam. For a complete racing newcomer, this was a very encouraging result and a clear indication of his potential. We hope Dalibor will continue his racing career and that we will welcome him as a regular member of the MS KART Racing Team next season.
Filip Valenta competed in the Rotax DD2 Slovak Championship classification. He qualified P3 and secured P2 in both opening races. Unfortunately, his final race ended after just one lap, leaving him classified P3. Nevertheless, he secured second place overall, celebrating his second consecutive podium finish.
Samuel Novák competed in Micro MAX MP, one of the most closely contested categories of the weekend. He qualified P6 in the Moravian Cup classification and finished seventh in the opening race. In both Sunday races, he improved to P5. He finished sixth overall, tied on points with the fifth-placed driver.
Josef Barilla qualified P3 in the KZ2 Masters Moravian Cup classification. He went on to record P7, P6 and P6 in the three races, completing the weekend in sixth place overall.
The Slovakiaring event brought the 2026 racing season to a close with a victory and two additional podium finishes. Beyond the results themselves, we are especially pleased with the progress our drivers have made, their determination and their continuous efforts to improve.
A big thank you to all our drivers, mechanics, partners and families for their hard work, commitment and support throughout the season.
We are already looking forward to new challenges and more success together in 2027!
