MS Superkart

The MS SUPERKART chassis is designed and specially developed for the Superkart category, the fastest machine in the karting world. The Superkart looks more like a small formula and its maximum speed is over 200 km/h.

The maximum power of a 250cc two-cylinder 2-stroke engine used in Division 1 is approx. 100 HP at 13,700 rpm. The MS Superkart frame is made of high-quality chrome-molybdenum steel tubes with a diameter of 30 or 32 mm.

Frame:

25CrMo4 Ø 30 mm nebo Ø 32 mm

Wheelbase:

1125 mm

Rear axle:

Ø 40 x 3 x 1000 mm
Ø 40 x 4 x 1000 mm

The latest version of the frame with a wheelbase of 1125 mm has a modified geometry in the front and also a new type of rear axle bearing housing holders. The front stub axles are mounted on three arms, which are connected to the frame by ball joints by means of which the geometry of the front axle is adjusted.

The MS KART hydraulic four-piston brakes with double adjustment of the clearance between the brake pads and the selfventilated brake disc, made of special cast iron, ensure an extraordinary braking effect. Using the remote control located on the steering wheel, the driver can change the brake distribution on the front and rear axles while driving. In front of the steering column, under the driver´s feet, there is an aluminum fuel tank with a volume of 17 liters, which is attached to a carbon-kevlar floor tray.

The latest bodywork model was developed in the aerodynamic tunnel and is made of fibreglas or carbon according to customer requirements. The front spoiler is designed to distribute the air in the front of the kart in the best way. It is height-adjustable so the pressure on the front axle can be adjusted. The pressure on the rear axle is regulated by means of the rear wing, which consists of eleven carbon or laminate parts and whose dominant feature is the aerodynamic upper part. One of the two aluminum radiators is located in the left side panel, the other “additional” radiator is located between the vertical surfaces of the rear wing.

A special carbon-kevlar seat guarantees the driver a completely firm seat, its integral part is also an aluminum headrest.
We offer seats in two different sizes: L and XL. As standard, the Superkart chassis comes with a brake and accelerator pedal and a clutch lever on the steering wheel. We also offer a model with 3 pedals for accelerator, brake and clutch.

Standard equipment:

  • hydraulic 4-piston brakes designed and manufactured by MS KART with double adjustment of the brake pad clearance:
    – Self-adjusting system which is secured by rubber rings of the brake pistons
    – Mechanical adjustment of the clearance of the individual brake pad by means of a central self-locking screw. This mechanical system increases the safety of operation and prevents the brake pad from moving back on its own and thus increasing the clearance between the brake pad and the brake
  • brake discs made of special cast iron
  • front and rear brake regulation
  • adjustable front axle geometry: adjustable inner and rear bars of the stub axle. The stub axles also allow height adjustment of the front axle – using the lower threaded stub axle pin. The adjustment is continuous in the range of 15 mm.
  • adjustable frame height front and rear
  • adjustable front spoiler pressure
  • adjustable rear wing pressure
  • aluminum radiator in the left side panel + additional rear radiator
  • aluminum fuel tank 17 l
  • aluminum 6″ wheel rims
  • steering wheel MS KART model M5 made by KG
  • carbon-kevlar seat
  • carbon-kevlar floor tray
  • fiberglass bodywork

.

Additional equipment:

  • carbon bodywork
  • aluminum 6″ wheel rims made by Edwards
  • brake regulation remote control from the driver’s seat
  • cush drive for the rear axle sprocket
  • quick-release steering wheel hub
  • seat eyelets to bring off the driver in the seat in case of accident
  • rear light
  • clutch pump

.

Tip:

Quick release steering wheel hub is in accordance with the latest CIK-FIA safety regulations. The nassau panel in front of the steering wheel (the so called bubble) can also be removed very quickly thanks to easy locking by cotter pins. Another security feature are special seat fixation eyes to anchore the rescue ropes and to pull out the pilot with the seat of the kart in the event of an accident.
