One of the most prestigious events of the season, the Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy Le Mans 2026, delivered a fantastic result for Team JDR and MS KART. At the legendary Circuit International Karting du Mans, where a record 370 drivers from 47 countries competed, Jack Dex claimed an outstanding victory in the DD2 Masters category aboard his MS KART Blue Phoenix chassis.
Jack was in superb form throughout the entire event. He secured pole position in qualifying, maintained his impressive pace through the qualifying heats, and went on to win the Super Heat. Starting the Final from pole position, he was one of the clear favourites for victory. Although the closing stages of the race produced an intense battle for the win, Jack kept his composure and delivered a flawless performance to take a well-deserved victory. The winning margin was just 0.06 seconds, highlighting the exceptional level of competition in the DD2 Masters class.
This victory is another major milestone for Jack Dex and Team JDR, confirming the strength of their long-standing partnership with MS KART. We are especially proud that this success was achieved with the MS KART Blue Phoenix, once again proving its competitiveness against the world’s best Rotax drivers.
Another MS KART Blue Phoenix driver in the DD2 Masters category was Jerome Schwab. While the final classification shows 16th place, it certainly does not reflect his true performance throughout the week. Jerome impressed with the 7th fastest time in official timed practice and consistently demonstrated excellent speed.
Unfortunately, his race weekend took a turn for the worse after a collision in the third qualifying heat, where he suffered an injury and was unable to finish the race. This setback significantly affected his overall ranking and starting position for the Final, ultimately limiting him to 16th place despite having the pace to fight much further up the field.
