This year’s edition of the British 24 Hours at Teeside Autodrome, one of the toughest endurance races on the calendar, once again provided some dramatic racing.
The first hour saw an fantastic 4-way battle for the lead & the excitement didn’t cease for the whole race. Our main challenger the #43 of MS Soco Select (Falcus / Lucas / Crossley / Cannon) coming home less than 20 seconds behind the winner with Max Plant (Shields / Parreira / Braid / Smith / B.Checketts / Morris) taking a sensational 3rd overall & winning the Pro Class.
Also on the Pro podium was MS Urban Pink (Sumner / Bailey / Knight / Henderson / Finch) who had a very strong showing.
In the Club Class ranks, debutants SKA Racing (Francis / Crow / Stainer / Mercer / Brown) scored a podium, finishing 2nd in class at their first attempt with a fantastic drive to 13th overall with MS Scorchio (Bishop / A.Checketts / Vowles / Kelly / Tidwell) narrowly missed out on honours, finishing on the same lap a 3rd in class!
