The sixth round of the Moravian Cup & Slovak Championship took place at the fast Austrian circuit in Bruck in mid-September. With hot summer weather throughout the weekend, both drivers and equipment were pushed to the limit. For the MS KART team, it was another successful event, bringing home several valuable trophies.
A debut with determination
New team member Lubomír Jáchym made his first-ever race appearance in the Baby 60 category and showed great determination from the very start. After qualifying in eighth position, he fought hard for a good result. Despite a serious crash during Sunday morning warm-up, Luboš bravely completed the weekend, significantly improving both his lap times and racing lines – a very promising start to his racing career.
Challenging but valuable weekend for Senior drivers
In the highly competitive Rotax Senior category, Matyáš Kučera didn’t start as planned, qualifying ninth. However, he showed progress throughout the weekend. After contact with a teammate and some technical issues, he managed to reach the Super Final through the second chance heat. Even with an older set of tires, he delivered a strong and determined drive to finish P10. Although frustrated by not being able to fully exploit his speed, Matyáš took away valuable experience for the next races.
His teammate Filip Valenta finished 14th, focusing mainly on gaining experience and finding consistency in the fast-paced Senior field.
Podiums and strong performances in KZ2
Jaroslav Capík was one of the team’s top performers, maintaining excellent pace all weekend in KZ2 Senior. With consistent speed and solid racecraft, he secured a brilliant 2nd place and another well-deserved trophy.
Josef Barilla fought within the top six throughout the event and, despite a few minor race incidents, finished in a strong 6th position, confirming his consistency in this demanding category.
Erik Písačka, taking part in only his second race of the season, impressed with great pace and composure to cross the line 5th, proving his potential and ambition to contest the full Czech Championship in 2026.
Victory for Lucie Zimmelová!
The highlight of the weekend came from Lucie Zimmelová, who delivered the best performance of her career so far. After an excellent qualifying session, Lucie maintained her speed and confidence in every race, showing courage and precision in wheel-to-wheel battles. Her efforts were rewarded with a fantastic victory in KZ2!
This win marked not only a personal triumph but also a major success for the entire MS KART team – proof of the progress and dedication Lucie has shown throughout the season. Congratulations!
Strong pace from Vloch and Javůrek
Filip Vloch also performed well in KZ2, maintaining steady speed and finishing in a respectable 5th place after overcoming minor difficulties during the weekend.
In Rotax DD2, Tomáš Javůrek demonstrated consistent form and top performance across all sessions. With three solid drives, he claimed 2nd place overall, confirming both his skill and readiness to fight for victories.
Another successful weekend is in the books for MS KART – marked by teamwork, determination, and great results. The final round of the Czech Kart Open awaits in Písek, 26–28 September. See you there!
