JDR Senior Success at the 0 Plate

Along with Lucas Ellingham’s P2 finish, team-mates Sam Baker and Jude Fernihough both had very strong performances too.

Sam was on the pace all weekend, and raced well in a very tough final to finish P7. Very impressive since he made the move up to seniors.

Jude was also up there on the times throughout testing. Unfortunately a penalty in one of the heats put him in the Repechage, though he made it through to the main final. He made up 20 places in the Pre-Final and was making his way through the top 10 in the Main Final before being taken out.

Also for our Junior drivers was the 0 Plate very positive. Both Liam Hartley and Lizzy Mentier impressed on an enormous grid and finished both their heats in the top 10. They both also made up good ground in the Pre-Finals, but unfortunately damage in the Main Final hindered their progress.

Archie Heron had his first ever outing in Rotax. He had a very impressive heat in P7 but a penalty in the other put him in the Repechage with an unavoidable crash.

Great learnings for all of our juniors going forward for their national championship campaigns
